Collection: Schomburg Center Centennial Celebration

This year, the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture is celebrating the 100th anniversary of its founding with a yearlong celebration boasting a packed lineup of special events, a centennial exhibition, and more! A national landmark and a storied research center located in the heart of Harlem devoted to the preservation, conservation, and exhibition of Black history, the Schomburg Center stewards a collection of 11 million objects from African diasporic history.
